The Human Resources Information Professional (HRIP) certification exam is designed to assess the knowledge and competencies of professionals in the HR technology field. Passing the exam indicates a demonstrated comprehensive understanding and proficiency of the defined body of knowledge in HR information management.
This study guide is designed to help candidates prepare for HRIP certification exam. It is not intended to replace professional experience or other sources of achieving professional competence.
The guide, which summarizes the basic subject areas (Domains and Objectives) and goes over basic concepts, is a tool to help test takers ascertain areas where they need further study. It is one component of a study regime that includes review of other IHRIM and industry publications and participation in IHRIM educational offerings.
The knowledge domains measured by the HRIP certification exam are based on the main knowledge areas of human resources information professional. The table below lists the high level domains measured by the HRIP examination and the extent to which they are represented in the examination:
